Bollywood actor Kartik Aaryan has been in the news lately for his projects in B-town. While the actor made headlines with his fallout with filmmaker Karan Johar, Sajid Nadiadwala announced a collaboration with the actor early this week. Kartik Aaryan has been roped to play the lead in the love saga, Satyanarayan Ki Katha, and according to reports, Shraddha Kapoor will be playing the leading lady.

Two days ago, filmmaker Sajid Nadiadwala announced his first collaboration with Kartik Aaryan for the epic love story and official Twitter handle of his production banner wrote, “#SajidNadiadwala brings to you the musical love saga, #SatyanarayanKiKatha, in collaboration with @namahpictures, starring @TheAaryanKartik directed by the award-winning director, @sameervidwans.” While Kartik’s fans elated with joy with the official announcement, the female lead was questioned.

According to a source close to the development of the project, Shraddha Kapoor has been approached to play the other part in the love story and she has reportedly loved the script. While an official confirmation is yet to be made regarding the casting of the female lead, the source claims that Shraddha has given her nod and a contract is being worked upon.
