The upcoming Justin Bieber’s concert in India, scheduled for October 18 in New Delhi, has been declared cancelled. Days after originally asserting that the performance would take place, the mega concert’s organisers issued a statement in which they acknowledged the development. The news follows Justin’s decision to cancel his current global tour due to exhaustion while he recovers from Ramsay Hunt syndrome.

Justin had already stated on social media that he was taking an indefinite break from performing and has cancelled the remaining Justice Tour dates. This raised questions about his planned performance in Delhi, which was a stop on the same tour’s Asia leg. BookMyShow, which is marketing this performance in India, had stated that it was “going ahead” at that time.

On Thursday, a corporate representative said that the event had been cancelled. The Justin Bieber Justice World Tour – India concert, which was planned to take place at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in New Delhi on October 18, 2022, has been cancelled due to the singer’s health issues, a representative from BookMyShow stated in a statement. He will sadly be unable to attend next month’s meeting owing to health problems.

The company also stated that all ticket buyers will receive refunds. When the ticket office opened a few months ago, the show had already sold out in a matter of minutes. “BookMyShow has already started reimbursing all customers who had bought tickets for the performance in whole and in full. Within 10 business days, the full refund will appear in the customer’s original transaction source account. “We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience caused,” the statement said.

Earlier this year, Justin Bieber received a diagnosis of the Ramsay Hunt syndrome, which led to partial paralysis of his face. He took a break from playing on stage after it, but he eventually made a triumphant return. Before announcing his second break last week, Justin even played six live shows in Europe and South America since his return.

The singer said last Tuesday that he was taking a break from touring since he was worn out after performing on the stage “After getting off stage, the exhaustion overtook me and I realized that I needed to make my health a priority right now. So, I’m going to take a break from touring for the time being. I’m going to be OK, but I need time to rest and get better,” read part of his statement.
