Post the phenomenal success of the crime thriller, Joker, Joaquin Phoenix has been making headlines for every single reason. While the movie turned out to be the biggest grosser among R-rated movies and still counting, fans of Joaquin Phoenix were desperately waiting for him to announce his next project and the latest report might be a treat to many.

Actor Joaquin Phoenix was recently spotted hanging out with a young co-star on a large rock for his next untitled movie. He was seen chatting with the renowned American director Mike Mills, who is supposedly directing his next. In the leaked pictures, the Joker actor was seen wearing a dark green coat paired with black pants and black shoes at the supposed movie set.

Meanwhile, Joaquin Phoenix has been nominated for the Best Actor award at The Golden Globe Awards for his critically acclaimed performance in the standalone movie of the clown prince of crime, Joker, which was helmed by Todd Phillips. Earlier, the director also revealed that he initially wanted to release the crime thriller in a trilogy when asked about his plans for a Joker sequel. However, he also clarified that there is no contract for the same and they are working on any sequel.
