Fans of No Entry were initially disappointed when rumours surfaced about a major cast shakeup for the much-anticipated sequel. However, excitement quickly returned when Arjun Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, and Diljit Dosanjh were announced as the new lead trio. While updates on the Anees Bazmee-directed comedy have been scarce, Arjun recently shared some insights during an interview with Pinkvilla.

Although he refrained from revealing too many details, Arjun hinted that the film could begin production in 2025. “I think Anees Bazmee and Boney Kapoor are the right people to speak about the project,” he said. “But fingers crossed, everything falls into place, and we can start filming next year.”

Arjun also expressed his excitement about diving into the comedy genre and working alongside Varun and Diljit. “I love comedy, and I don’t think I’ve done enough of it. I’ve always had this hunger to explore more in that space,” he admitted.

He continued, “It’s a dream to work with a friend like Varun, who brings so much energy, and someone as inspiring as Diljit, whose work and personality I admire deeply. Plus, I’ve already worked with Anees bhai on Mubarakan, so I know firsthand what he’s capable of. He’s a master of comedy, as we’ve seen with Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. And this time, it’s extra special because I’m also working on a home production with my father.”

Arjun didn’t hold back his admiration for his co-stars’ comedic skills either. He praised Diljit’s performance in Good Newwz and described Varun as natkhat (mischievous), adding that their on-screen chemistry is bound to be a treat for audiences.

While fans eagerly await official updates, Arjun’s enthusiasm for No Entry 2 has only added to the anticipation. With this powerhouse trio under the direction of Anees Bazmee, it looks like the sequel could be well worth the wait.
