While the Coronavirus pandemic has made production activities sluggish, Akshay Kumar starrer spy thriller Bell Bottom has completed its shooting in Scotland. The Ranjit Tewari directorial has not only managed to complete the shooting amid the pandemic but also has become the first movie in the world to have a ‘start to finish’ shooting schedule amid the Coronavirus crisis.

While the movie was announced way before the pandemic was announced but due to the unprecedented environment, the production activities were halted. With some relaxations from the government in the ‘Unlock’ phases, many filmmakers resumed production of their projects with proper precautionary measures in place for the safety of the cast and crew. Based on true events, Bell Bottom is set during the 1980s and highlights some unforgettable heroes of the era.

Announcing the wrap up of the movie, lead actor Akshay Kumar took to his social media handle to share a poster of the movie with the caption, “Alone we can do so little, together we can do so much. Its teamwork and I am grateful to each and every member of the cast and crew. #BellBottomCompleted. Here’s the poster”

Helmed by Ranjit Tewari, Bell Bottom stars Akshay Kumar as the protagonist with Vaani Kapoor, Huma Qureshi, and Lara Dutta in the prominent characters. The spy thriller is scheduled for a theatrical release on 2nd April 2021.
