Coming together of the mightiest heroes of the DC Extended Universe in one of the most anticipated movies of 2017, Justice League, saw the team of superheroes joining hands to defeat the evil supervillain character of Steppenwolf. However, the movie failed to live up to the expectations and the makers pulled the plug to add more instalments to the franchise.

Now after two years of the release of the movie, Jack Snyder has finally opened up to the requests of his fans and earlier shared BTS shots of his Snyder Cut of Justice League. Recently, when a fan quizzed about him killing the character of Batman to defeat the omnipotent supervillain Darkseid as a sacrifice to save the world, he confirmed that it was the actual plan for the trilogy. “We always had that we would see that in the final chapter,” said Zack Snyder.

The Justice League earlier had two sequels to come after the first flick was released. In the second instalment, Justice League would head to the Apokolips where Superman would have been captured by the Darkseid. The last chapter in the franchise would have Darkseid invading Earth and Justice League going against him in an epic battle which we would never get to see.

On the other hand, the prominent cast of the movie joined the fans in a petition to release the Snyder’s Cut of Justice League and the director gave some hope that the much-awaited extended version will be released officially.
