While 2020 can be summed for bringing all the negativity, the year has been a treat for the fans of DC Universe as Snyder’s cut of Justice League saw the light of the day. It was earlier announced that Zack Snyder’s version of the superhero movie, Justice League, will be released as a four-part miniseries on HBO Max, the latest news is about the remastered Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice.
Zack Snyder took to the social media network Vero, where he is most active, to tease the fans with photos of Batman V Superman as the team is putting in work to restore the 2016 release for IMAX aspect ratio. Sharing the pictures, the filmmaker wrote, “Was at Co3 yesterday with Stefan [Sonnenfeld] and we were working on the remastering of BvS restoring the IMAX aspect ratio and I think you’re gonna see a bit more.”
While it is being speculated that the director referred to new footage as he assures the audiences to get to ‘see a bit more’, he is more likely to be referring to the larger aspect ratio of IMAX which offers up to 26% more detailed frames. Meanwhile, Snyder also mentioned that the restored version of Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice could be made available for HBO Max subscribers and is expected to be released as Blu-ray/4K Ultra HD as well for those who wish to pick up a physical copy.
