The second instalment of the Yash starrer crime-action franchise, KGF, has been in the spotlight for the longest and the fans have been eagerly waiting for more updates on the production. The shooting for KGF: Chapter 2 was heavily affected due to the Coronavirus pandemic followed by nationwide lockdown imposed by the government. However, the makers have finally resumed the shooting and Yash took to his social media handle to make the announcement.
While the makers of the highly-anticipated sequel had resumed shooting last month, Yash has now joined the crew. The actor took to his social media handle to share a picture of him in formals and wrote, “Waves can’t be stopped but you can learn to sail..After a long break, Rocky sets sail from today.” Yash will be reprising his character of Rocky from the first instalment of the franchise with new characters in the plot. The second chapter of the movie will star Sanjay Dutt as the prime antagonist and his look for the movie was earlier released and loved by everyone.

KGF: Chapter 1 was a huge hit at the box office and Yash received critical acclamation for his performance as a dreadful gangster. While the fans of the movie have been waiting since 2018 for the second part, Chapter 2 is expected to release by the end of next year. Helmed by Prashanth Neel, the movie stars Yash, Sanjay Dutt, Raveena Tandon, and Srinidhi Shetty in the prominent characters.
