The Coronavirus pandemic has changed the world as we used to see and almost every country is affected by the viral pandemic. While every industry is affected by the Coronavirus scare, the entertainment industry was the first to shut down and, most likely, will be the last one to function when the situation normalizes. Meanwhile, movie releases got stuck amid the crisis, many filmmakers joined hands with OTT platforms for the digital premiere of their projects.

While the entire nation is confined to their own homes to curb the spread of the deadly spread, the video streaming giants have experienced exponential growth in their businesses. Many OTT platforms have approached filmmakers with lucrative deals to release their movies directly on digital platforms by skipping the traditional theatre run. Yash Raj Films has completed its 50 years in the industry and currently has a lineup of big-budgeted movies.
