According to a confirmation made by Variety, the popular Birmingham notorious gang saga will be ending after the upcoming final season which is under production.<\/p>\n<p>Talking to the magazine, show creator Steven Knight said, &#8220;After the enforced production delay due to the Covid pandemic, we find the family in extreme jeopardy and the stakes have never been higher.\u201d While Steven assured that the final season will be the best of them all, he also teased that the story of the show will continue in another form which we suspect a reboot or a spin-off. &#8220;While the TV series will be coming to an end, the story will continue in another form,&#8221; Steven concluded.<\/p>\n<p>The British drama, originally aired on BBC and currently streaming on the OTT giant Netflix, revolves around the life of a criminal family led by the notorious gang leader and &#8216;a dangerous man&#8217;, Tommy Shelby. Set in the 1900s England, the show is loosely based on a real urban youth gang of the same name.
