Following the viral petitions to drop Amber Heard from the upcoming superhero flick\u00a0<em>Aquaman 2<\/em>, the production house has kept its mum over the controversy and here&#8217;s a possible reason.<\/p>\n<p>Incidentally, the rights to both <em>Fantastic Beasts<\/em> and\u00a0<em>Aquaman 2<\/em> are owned by the production house Warner Bros and the selective decision to drop only Johnny Depp from\u00a0<em>Fantastic Beasts 3<\/em> has irked the netizens. Following the rage, a petition to fire Amber Heard from <em>Aquaman 2<\/em> in an attempt to bring justice to Johnny Depp has gone viral and already crossed over a million signatures. However, as per reports, Warner Bros cannot fire Amber Heard from the\u00a0<em>Aquaman<\/em> franchise owing to her legal contract.<\/p>\n<p>For the unversed, Johnny Depp and Amber Heard had fallout from their marriage and the two had accused each other of physical abuse. However, when Johnny Depp filed a libel lawsuit against a news portal for calling him a &#8216;wife-beater&#8217;, he lost the lawsuit costing him his career.
