The couple made their first major public appearance together at the César Awards in Paris in February 2026. Carrey attended the ceremony to receive an Honorary César, with Min Ah seated alongside his daughter Jane and grandson Jackson.

During his acceptance speech, the actor acknowledged Min Ah as his companion and publicly expressed his love for her. The appearance marked one of the few occasions on which the couple openly addressed their relationship.

Carrey and Min Ah had reportedly been seen together as early as 2022, several years before officially appearing as a couple. Min Ah is an actress and artist based in Los Angeles.

The marriage is Carrey’s third. He was previously married to Melissa Womer from 1987 to 1995, and the former couple share a daughter, Jane. He later married his Dumb and Dumber co-star Lauren Holly in 1996, but the marriage ended the following year.
