The incident reportedly took place during the production of Kartik\u2019s upcoming film with director Kabir Khan. The yet-to-be-titled project marks their second collaboration following Chandu Champion<\/em>.<\/p>\n Kartik is said to be playing a kickboxing coach in the sports drama, which is inspired by the story of kickboxer Tajamul Islam. The physically demanding character required the actor to undergo extensive preparation ahead of filming. Despite his training, Kartik injured his knee while performing one of the action sequences. He subsequently received medical treatment and was advised to rest after undergoing the surgical procedure.<\/p>\n The injury is expected to cause a temporary interruption to his filming commitments. However, the actor\u2019s spokesperson has indicated that he should be able to resume work soon.
