The reported fatwa was issued by Maulana Ibrahim Hussain, identified as the Shahi Chief Mufti of the Muslim Personal Darul Ifta. The cleric reportedly stated that, according to his interpretation of Sharia, a Muslim man is not permitted to marry a non-Muslim woman.<\/p>\n
In a video that has surfaced online, the cleric is heard explaining his objections to Aamir Khan’s marriage. He also reportedly commented on the actor’s third marriage, stating that if a person is unable to fulfil the responsibilities of marriage, they should refrain from marrying again.<\/p>\n
