Shah Rukh Khan, who opened the event, welcomed the guests with his trademark charm and humility. \u201cIt\u2019s a privilege to welcome everyone to the first edition of the WAVES Summit,\u201d he said, addressing Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Maharashtra Governor C P Radhakrishnan, and Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. Veteran actor Nagarjuna paid homage to the timeless influence of Indian storytellers, saying, \u201cIndia is a land where stories shape hearts and generations. At WAVES, we celebrate another historic chapter. As we mark the centenary of five cinematic legends, the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, along with the Department of Post, is releasing a commemorative set of stamps in honour of Guru Dutt, Ritwik Ghatak, Salil Chowdhury, Raj Khosla, and P. Bhanumati. I am deeply thankful to the I&B Ministry and the Hon\u2019ble Prime Minister for their commitment to preserving our cinematic heritage.\u201d<\/p>\n
