As per the report, the actor was stabbed six times during the scuffle with the intruder and had to undergo immediate surgery when arrived at the hospital. In a significant development, the Bandra Police has released a statement revealing details about the incident.<\/p>\n
According to the official statement issued by the Police, domestic help Eliyama Phillipes was the first to spot the intruder at around 2 am and alerted the rest of the household. This resulted in her getting attacked by the intruder and, later, the actor had a scuffle with the robber resulting in serious injuries to both. The statement further added, \u201cThe domestic help Eliyama Phillipes alias Lima, was the first one to spot the robber at around 2 am. She screamed and alerted Khan\u2019s family members. Khan then woke up and had a scuffle with the robber, who attacked him with a sharp object, the preliminary probe has revealed. Currently, the domestic help Lima has been brought to the Bandra police station for questioning. She has sustained injuries on her right wrist. She was the one who was attacked first by the intruder.\u201d<\/p>\n
On the other hand, the staff at the Lilavati Hospital has provided an update on the actor’s condition following a series of medical procedures. The actor had surgery to remove a knife that was lodged in his spine. A doctor from the medical team, shared, \u201cSurgery was performed to remove the knife lodged in the spine and stop the spinal fluid leaking. Two other injuries, one on the left hand and the other on the neck, were repaired with plastic surgery.\u201d<\/p>\n
