Kartik recalls not renewing his contract with a fairness brand after a brief endorsement. He said, “I ran an ad for a face cream a long time ago, but I discontinued it. I wasn’t convinced by it. I didn’t renew it because I realized it may be incorrect.” The actor went on to say, “I’ve been offered a number of brands, but I’ve declined. Like the supari and pan masala brands. I can’t relate to such things. And I try to avoid these things as much as possible. I can’t tell who is right or wrong because everyone has their own way of thinking. But this does not match with my ideas.”<\/p>\n
Kartik will appear in Kabir Khan’s next, Chandu Champion<\/em>, a sports biography of former Indian Paralympic gold winner Murlikant Petkar. The actor went through bodily transformations to embody the athlete in the epic drama. Alongside Kartik, Bhuvan Arora, Yashpal Sharma, Vijay Raaz, Aniruddh Dave, Palak Lalwani, and other actors play important roles in the film.
