Bollywood actress and controversy queen, Kangana Ranaut is all set to rule the television space with her upcoming show “Lock Upp”.<\/p>\n

The actress has shared the trailer of the upcoming show where Kangana will play the host on the show where a bunch of controversial celebrities will be locked up together.
\nIn the trailer, Kangana is seen dressed in a golden outfit, walking along a row of jail cells, carrying a baton. She says that the show will be a \u2018nightmare\u2019 for contestants. They will be provided only basic amenities and will be given \u2018takleef (troubles)\u2019. As Kangana says this, people are heard getting beaten up in the background.<\/p>\n

During the trailer launch of the show, Kangana took a few names whom she wants to put inside the jail. She first took the name of Karan Johar, then television czarina Ekta Kapoor and megastar Amitabh Bachchan.
\n“There are a number of people in the entertainment industry who deserve to be in my jail. And in my lock-up, my favorite cast will be my best friend Karan Johar Ji. I would like to host him. And also Ekta,” replying to Kangana, Ekta says jokingly: “Me and Karan will talk about food and will invite you inside to join us.”
\nKangana continues to share her wish list, adding the name of Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan and Amitabh Bachchan: “I am a great admirer of Mr. Aamir Khan, so I would like him also to be in my lock up. And I also love Mr. Bachchan. Of course, I can give the auditions. They are not the contestants but my wish list.” To this Ekta replies: “I love your wish list.”

\nKangana shares further that the list should also include some politicians. “We should have some politicians as well. So, we should have people from different walks of life. There will be actresses as well. And also people like designers, professors. So, these are just the ones I want to be inside the lock up.”
\nKangana also says that the contestants will have to change clothes in front of everyone as images of women bathing and undressing are shown. The celebrities will also have to share their secrets with all to keep them safe from elimination.<\/p>\n

Fans are divided about their expectations from the show. While some are excited to watch Kangana as the host, others called it \u2018(cheap) Bigg Boss’. \u201cIrony bhaishab irony,\u201d wrote one, seemingly hinting at the many FIRs filed against Kangana for her controversial statements over the last couple of years.<\/p>\n

ALTBalaji and MX Player will live stream this show 24X7 on their respective platforms and will have the audiences interact directly with the contestants. The audiences will have the power to punish or award the contestants.
