Television actor Pearl V Puri was booked on allegations of raping a minor and an arrest was made on June 4 by Waliv police in Maharashtra. The actor was charged under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses act and no bail was granted to his early requests.<\/p>\n
Pearl had applied for bail on the 7th of June and a hearing was scheduled for today. The session court in Vasai heard the plea of the actor and bail was granted today in the alleged rape case of a minor. Earlier, his friend and television actor, Karishma Tanna, had announced on her social media handle that bail had been granted to the actor but it was hoax news.<\/p>\n
Along with Karishma, a number of renowned media and entertainment faces spoke in support of the actor and claimed that he has been framed in the case. Television producer Ekta Kapoor was one of the first who supported him after he was arrested. On the other hand, Vasai DCP Sanjay Kumar Patil, who is handling Pearl’s case, revealed that the arrest has been made on the evidence against the actor.<\/p>\n
