The speculations were rife about how the sequel is not going to be as hit and popular as the previous movies because of the casting criticism that the makers faced. After Robert Pattinson’s casting was made official by the makers, the criticism flowed in heavy as many doubted the decision of casting the British actor and calling him, “not right for the role”. However Pattinson, during his interview with the magazine, Variety, in September 2019, told that the criticism never bothered him. He said, “To be honest, it was less vitriolic than I was expecting. It’s much more fun when you’re an underdog. There’s no expectation of you.”
