Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff starrer actioner War has successfully built the buzz around it and is one of the most awaited movies of the year. While the director puts Hrithik and Tiger against each other in the action-packed drama, Vaani Kapoor plays the female lead in the movie and can be seen romancing Hrithik Roshan in the movie trailer and songs.

Talking about her part in the movie, the director Siddharth Anand said that Vaani would be seen in a small part of the movie but still played a pivotal character for the plot. “You will know her importance; her significance that will stay with you,” he adds.

Talking more about the actress, Siddharth said that Vaani is still a newcomer in a way and people would see her with a fresh lens. The director went on to say that he has only worked with big stars and it was refreshing to experiment with her. Anand said, “I have always worked with big stars at the peak, so it was refreshing to present a newcomer in my film that is loaded with superstars.”

Helmed by Siddharth Anand, War pits Hrithik against Tiger in the multicrore actioner and is slated to a release on 2 October.
