Actor Vishal Jethwa has geared up a romantic makeover, as opposed to playing a foul and a brutal rapist as well as a killer in Mardani 2, a cop drama film that hit the cinemas in 2019. After successfully shooting himself fame with the film, he now plays a loverboy in the music video of Arko’s new song, Dhat.

Jethwa reveals that he was confronted by Arkoda for his music video, And he didn’t think twice before signing up since he has always respected the singer-songwriter and music composer. He confesses that he has been a huge fan of his compositions Teri Mitti and Nazm Nazm.

To this Vishal adds that as soon as he heard the music, he fell in love with the song, for it came as a very sweet and romantic composition to him. Also, he reveals his second reason for signing up for Dhat. He tells that when he came to know that the song is retro and the character he would be playing would be a romantic boy, he immediately grabbed it. Since he has never been offered to play a romantic character on screen, he felt it was a great opportunity and something absolutely different and challenging for him as well as his fans. He decided to go ahead with the idea as he wanted the audience to see him in a different avatar post Mardaani 2.

Vishal is looking for more opportunities to play a romantic hero on screen and says that he would love to do so. Although he also ensures that whatever character he will portray, positive or negative, he would always push the boundaries and challenge himself and do complete justice to the role.
