Actor Vikrant Massey caused quite a stir early Monday morning with a cryptic social media post that left fans speculating about his possible retirement from acting. However, the Sabarmati Report star has since clarified that he isn’t bidding farewell to his career but simply taking a much-needed break to focus on his health and spend time at home.

Speaking with News18 Showsha, Vikrant addressed the rumours, saying, “I’m not retiring… just burned out. I need a long break. I miss home, and my health isn’t in the best shape. People misinterpreted my post.”

On December 2, Vikrant shared an emotional note on Instagram, expressing his gratitude for the unwavering support of his fans and followers. He explained that the decision to step back was a way to “recalibrate” and prioritize his roles as a husband, father, son, and actor.

He wrote, “So, coming 2025, we would meet each other for one last time. Until time deems right. Last 2 movies and many years of memories. Thank you again. For everything and everything in between. Forever indebted.”

The post garnered an outpouring of emotions from fans, with many expressing sadness and wishing him well for this new chapter.

Vikrant was recently seen in The Sabarmati Report, directed by Dheeraj Sarna and co-starring Raashii Khanna and Ridhi Dogra. The film received significant attention, including a special screening in Parliament attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, along with prominent Cabinet ministers such as Amit Shah, Rajnath Singh, and JP Nadda.

As Vikrant Massey takes time off to recharge, fans remain hopeful that he will return stronger, ready to deliver more of his signature performances in the years to come.
