Sharing the excitement for the unexpected entry in one of the world’s most valued movie awards, director and producer of the movie, Vikas Khanna, took to his social media to share a heartfelt note. “BEST WAY TO START 2020. Oscars: Academy Announces 344 Films Eligible for 2019 Best Picture,” the filmmaker wrote as he shared a screenshot of the list issued by The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.

While the filmmaker jumped with joy with the achievement and shared a series of tweets congratulating the hard work of the team and the inspiration behind the project, lead actress Neena Gupta was surprised with the news and replied to Vikas’s tweet with excitement.
