Amazon Prime Video’s espionage action thriller web series, The Family Man, had been an instant hit amongst the fans and the sequel lived up to the expectations as well. While the maker’s decision to include more powerful actors in the second instalment proved to be the surprise package, we can expect more renowned names to come up in the third season.

According to a report from Koimoi, the third season of the much-loved spy thriller, The Family Man, is already on the cards and the makers are eyeing big names for inclusion. The latest we heard is that Vijay Sethupathi has been approached to play a key role in the third instalment of the show which will feature Manoj Bajpayee reprising his character of Srikant Tiwari. However, there has been no official confirmation regarding Vijay’s casting so far.

Vijay Sethupathi was reportedly offered a special role in the second season of The Family Man as well but he turned it down for reasons unknown. However, if the initial reports are to be believed, the success of the series and the importance of the role might change Vijay’s mind this time around. According to sources, the third season of the show will witness Threat Analysis and Surveillance Cell battling against a biological weapon originating from China. The show will be set against the current times of the Coronavirus pandemic.
