Actor Vijay Raaz is a well-known face in the Bollywood industry and he has been entertaining the crowd with his on-screen antics for the longest. While the actor was shooting for his upcoming movie, Sherni, with Vidya Balan in the lead, Gondia police booked him under the section of 354 (A and D) of the Indian Penal Code and produced before the local court.
As per the reports, Vijay Raaz continuously harassed his 30-year-old female co-actor during their stay at a hotel for the shooting of the upcoming movie, Sherni. As per the reports, Vijay allegedly molested his co-actor repeatedly in the evening hours for three days before she lodged a complaint at the local police station on Monday night. After the complaint, he was arrested by the Gondia police and was latest released on bail.
A report by ANI quotes Atul Kulkarni, Additional SP, Gondia, “Actor Vijay Raaz was arrested from Gondia allegedly for molesting a woman crew member. A case has been registered.” The actor has refused to comment on the case as of now.
Talking about the movie, the Vidya Balan starrer Sherni is being shot at Balaghat district of Madhya Pradesh around 40kms from Gondia. A crew of around 50 members was staying at two different hotels in Gondia and used to go Balaghat for the shooting.
