The Coronavirus pandemic changed the entertainment industry completely and the biggest are movies are getting a direct-digital release skipping the traditional theatrical premiere. Joining the bandwagon is the next of Vidyut Jammwal, Sanak – Hope Under Siege, which will premiere on the OTT giant, Disney+ Hotstar.

Featuring action star Vidyut Jammwal in the lead, Sanak has been one of the most anticipated action thrillers of the actor and now the same will be released over the OTT platform. Making an official announcement, Vidyut shared a new movie poster over his social media handle as he confirmed the collaboration.

Sharing the intruiging poster, Vidyut wrote, “Maine suna hai SANAK kuch bhi karwa Sakti hai aur pyaar main Sanki bana sakti hai… Ab meri #Sanak kregi saari hadein paar! My upcoming action thriller coming soon on @disneyplushotstar #DisneyPlusHotstarMultiplex (sic).”

The movie will mark the fifth collaboration of the actor with filmmaker Vipul Shah and will also feature Chandan Roy Sanyal, Neha Dhupia, and Rukmini Maitra in key roles. The movie will be helmed by Kanishk Varma and is expected to premiere by the end of 2021.
