Sara Ali Khan has been hitting the right chords ever since she made her debut in the Bollywood industry with the romantic-drama Kedarnath opposite Sushant Singh Rajput. While the actress is busy shooting for Imtiaz Ali’s Aaj Kal and David Dhawan’s Coolie No. 1, latest reports suggest that she has been roped for another big project.
It was earlier revealed that Vicky Kaushal has been finalized for Aneez Bazmi’s upcoming entertainer after Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. The latest reports suggest that director Aneez Bazmi was in search of a bubbly and terrific young performer to play the female lead in the movie and the makers zeroed down to Sara Ali Khan.
When the comedy script was narrated to Simmba actress, she instantly gave her nod to the project owing that producer Ekta Kapoor is a family friend. Sara Ali Khan hasn’t explored her comical side yet and therefore it will be interesting to see her in a completely new avatar.
Meanwhile, it is not the first time that Sara Ali Khan and Vicky Kaushal had been approached for the movie. Earlier, Vicky and Sara were speculated to play the leads in Farhad Samji’s Bachchan Pandey but later Akshay Kumar was signed for the role.
While we are still awaiting an official confirmation by the makers of the upcoming comic entertainer, the movie is expected to go on floors in the early next year.
