After the humongous success of the military action film, Uri: The Surgical Strike, filmmaker Aditya Dhar and Vicky Kaushal are collaborating one more time with another exciting project. The duo had earlier announced their next VFX-heavy sci-fi film, The Immortal Ashwathama, and the actor took to his social media to share the ongoing preparation.
In an Instagram post, the Manmarziyaan actor shared an intense preparation for his role in the upcoming film with Aditya Dhar and in the shared picture, he can be seen completely covered in casting. The image also features the director Aditya Dhar as it reads, “When the Director’s really serious about ‘casting’ you in the Film. Prepping to be The Immortal! @adityadharfilms #TheImmortalAshwatthama (sic)”.

The highly anticipated movie based on the mythological immortal being features Vicky alongside Sara Ali Khan in the female lead. The film is expected to get on the floors in September as the makers plan to finish the filming in a marathon schedule of five months. The Immortal Ashwathama is touted to be VFX-heavy and therefore, the post-production of the movie will require months before it is ready for release.
