Bollywood actors, Vicky Kaushal and Sara Ali Khan, are all prepared to share the screen space for the first time with filmmaker Laxman Utekar and the latest we hear is that the movie will be set in the backdrop of PM Awas Yojana. The upcoming rom-com will be featuring Vicky and Sara as a married couple.
According to the latest developments, the movie will be a small-town story of a married couple with a social message hidden in the climax. If reports are to be believed, Vicky and Sara will be portraying the characters of husband and wife, respectively, who are trying to own a house away from their joint family. When they find their dream home in the backdrop of the Indian Government’s flagship program Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY), the plot unfolds a twist.
Earlier, the movie was reportedly offered to Ayushmann Khurrana but the deal didn’t materialize and Vicky Kaushal was roped in to play the lead alongside Sara Ali Khan. Vicky Kaushal and Sara Ali Khan are also headlining the VFX-heavy movie, The Immortal Ashwatthama, however, the movie has been put on hold for the time being.
To be helmed by Laxman Utekar, the rom-com drama is scheduled to go on the floors in mid-November and the principal shoot will be done in Ujjain and Gwalior.
