Internet is a weird place and actors face trolls on a daily basis. However, veteran actor Tabassum had to come out in public to rubbish a disgusting rumour about her that she died. The actor was recently tested positive for COVID-19 and she recovered from the deadly disease. While her son and filmmaker Hoshang Govil confirmed that she is doing fine, a few people kept on circulating fake rumours about her health.

Rumours of her death took the internet by storm and Tabassum had to confirm that she is alive and healthy. Addressing the disgusting rumours about her, she took to her Instagram handle to write that she is fine, healthy and with her family. “apki shubhkamnaon ki wajah se main bilkul theek hoon, tandurst hoon aur apne parivaar ke saath hoon. Ye jo rumour phail rahi hai mere baare mein woh bilkul ghalat hai, aur main yeh dua karti hoon ke aap sab bhi apne ghar mein safe rahein (Due to your well-wishes, I am fine, healthy and with my family. These rumours circulating about me are fake, and I wish that everyone remain safe at their home),” she wrote.

Earlier after the actress tested positive for contracting Coronavirus, pictures of her stating that she is suffering from Alzheimer’s disease went viral on the internet. Her son dismissed such rumours by saying, “I am disgusted that people can spread her picture and start a rumour that she has Alzheimer’s.” He further added that Tabassum neither has heart disease nor diabetes.
