Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan has been in the news lately for testing positive for the novel Coronavirus amid the shooting of his upcoming movie, Jug Jug Jeeyo. However, the unfortunate illness is not stopping the actor from interacting with his fans on social media networks. Meanwhile, updates about his health, Varun Dhawan took to the micro-blogging website to slam a news portal for fabricating stories about his upcoming movie.

When it was reported by a news portal that Varun Dhawan has been signed by producer Jackky Bhagnani to play the lead in a remake of Govinda and Amitabh Bachchan starrer Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, the actor was quick to rubbish the information. The Main Tera Hero actor tweeted the link of the alleged news and wrote, “No please don’t do rumours behave yourselves guys.”

It is not the first time that Varun Dhawan has cleared the air about his casting rumours. Months ago, he had also denied rumours of his hush-hush Roka ceremony with his girlfriend Natasha Dalal when the news went viral.

On the work front, Varun Dhawan has as many as four projects in the pipeline. The actor was shooting for Raj Mehta’s Jug Jug Jeeyo before getting diagnosed with COVID-19 and he will resume the production as soon as he recovers from the illness. He also has Amar Kaushik’s Bhediya, Sriram Raghavan’s Ekkis and Sajid Nadiadwala’s Sanki lined up.
