Renowned director Atlee Kumar, known for his upcoming action film with Shah Rukh Khan, is reportedly in talks with Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan for a high-octane action project. The film is said to be produced by Murad Khetani and is generating much anticipation. While Varun Dhawan has showcased his action skills in previous movies, this collaboration could give his career a significant boost following the lukewarm response to his recent outing, Bhediya.
According to reports, Varun Dhawan has been in discussions with Atlee and Murad Khetani for an action-packed film, which is expected to begin shooting in August. The movie is described as a commercial entertainer with a focus on high-action sequences and a grand scale. The team aims for a big Summer 2024 release and plans to create stylish and larger-than-life sequences to captivate the audience.
The film’s storyline promises a combination of emotion, drama, and action, with Varun Dhawan taking on the lead role. The production team intends to finalize the female lead and the main villain by June. Meanwhile, Atlee’s debut Bollywood directorial Jawaan, featuring Shah Rukh Khan, Nayanthara, and Vijay Sethupathi, is set to release on September 7.
Apart from the potential collaboration with Atlee, Varun Dhawan has other projects in the pipeline, including Bawaal with Janhvi Kapoor and his upcoming Amazon Prime series, Citadel.
