Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan recently tied the knot with girlfriend Natasha Dalal amid the pandemic and straight away went to work to fulfil his work commitments. Meanwhile, the couple was spotted at the Mumbai airport recently and netizens mistook them for coming from vacation while the government is trying to contain the virus spread. Quick to respond to the allegations, Varun Dhawan replied to the netizen who slammed him.

Many Bollywood celebrities have headed for vacations after a complete curfew was announced in Maharashtra to curb the spread of the virus and of late, netizens have been furious. When Varun Dhawan returned to Mumbai after completing the shoot of his next, Bhediya, he was spotted with Natasha at the airport. Unaware of the backstory, a netizen slammed the actor by commenting, “You went out for a vacay and gave paps the chance to snap, now you come back and complain. Stop over showing your privilege when people in your country are dying.”

Varun was quick to respond to the user and wrote, “Well, your assumption is wrong. I was shooting my film and not on holiday. And what do you mean ‘Gave them a chance?’ How do you not give them a chance? I have people who have also lost their life in covid. So please keep ur assumptions to yourself.”

On the work front, Varun Dhawan will next be seen in the horror-comedy, Bhediya. Helmed by Amar Kaushik, the movie reunites Varun Dhawan with Kriti Sanon on the big screen.
