Indian actor Varun Dhawan has always been one of the most bankable actors and he has given a number of superhit projects. While his recent outing with Kiara Advani had a good start at the box office, the actor shared his upcoming projects and discussed his interest in doing comedy too.

In an exclusive interview with Pinkvilla while promoting his recent release, JugJugg Jeeyo, Varun talked about what audiences could expect him in, after Amar Kaushik’s Bhediya and Nitesh Tiwari’s Bawaal. Varun told that the audience can expect him to be seen in a mass actioner next year. He also showed his inclination to work in a comedy film again and named directors like his father David Dhawan, Anees Bazmee, Indra Kumar, Raj Mehta and Shashank Khaitan.

The actor also shared that he didn’t want to crowd his line-up with many films and that he was monitoring the Post-Covid box office situation very closely. He said he was understanding the audience’s tastes and preferences in the process.

After a good headstart to JugJugg Jeeyo, Varun will next be seen alongside Kriti Sanon in Amar Kaushik’s directorial Bhediya. The movie will be the next instalment in the Dinesh Vijan’s horror-comedy universe following Stree and Roohi.
