While the pandemic is at its peak in India, Bollywood celebrities are no immune to the deadly virus. Days ago, Sunny Deol had informed that he has acquired the virus and now members of the upcoming movie Jug Jug Jeeyo have tested positive for COVID-19. Varun Dhawan, Neetu Kapoor, and filmmaker Raj Mehta have tested positive for the virus ironically amid the shooting of comedy-drama, Jug Jug Jeeyo.

A source close to the production of the movie has informed that the shooting of the movie has been halted after two lead members and the director of the movie tested positive for the novel Coronavirus. While the entire team was tested in Mumbai before they left for the shooting locations, Varun Dhawan and Neetu Kapoor were found positive for COVID-19 during the routine testing. Further information is awaited.

Helmed by Raj Mehta, Jug Jug Jeeyo stars Varun Dhawan and Kiara Advani as the lead couple with Anil Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor playing the parents of Varun’s character. The movie also marks the Bollywood debut of renowned Indian YouTuber Prajakta Kohli aka MostlySane.
