The North-Indian television industry woke up to saddening news on October 16th when police discovered the dead body of actress Vaishali Takkar in her apartment. Best known for her role in the daily soap Sasural Simar Ka, Indian actress Vaishali Takkar killed herself in her residence in Indore leaving a suicide note behind. The note accused her ex-boyfriend Rahul Navlani and her wife of mentally torturing her. Adding more to the story, her co-actor Nishant Singh Malkani opened up on Vaishali’s toxic relationship with Rahul.
Revealing shocking details about her toxic relationship with Rahul Navlani, Nishant shared, “Rahul was not letting her move on. She was in a depression. She had consulted a psychiatrist. I now realise the magnitude of her problem, when I get to hear things such as Rahul wanting to show their intimate pictures to her to-be husband. Intimacy happens if you are in a relationship, but that does not mean that you threaten to share those moments with anybody else if you break up.”
He further revealed that Vaishali was under depression and would often cry during her shoot. “She used to cry so much on the set so many times, kabhi kabhi acting bhi nahi kar pati thi because she was under so much stress and trauma. I used to tell her to ignore him and move on,” he added.
After police recovered a suicide note from Vaishali’s residence, Rahul was arrested and is currently in police custody while the investigation is underway.
