Malyalam actor Parvathy Thiruvoth who was last seen in Anjali Menon’s Koode along side Prithviraj Sukumaran and Nazriya Nazim as a Domestic Violence victim and survivor, will soon be seen in yet another compelling narrative ‘Uyare’, directed by debutante Manu Ashokan.

Pallavi Raveendran played by Parvathy is a regular girl with an ambition to become a pilot, however faces restrain from her boyfriend played by Asif Ali, who isn’t too pleased with her Pilot job, instead would have appreciated her more in her docile and traditional form. While she is already struggling to balance her love life & ambitions, her face is attacked with acid.

The movie shall take us through Pallavi’s inspiring journey of fighting all the obstacles that is trying to keep her from living life her terms, fulfilling her ambition, breaking away from the prejudices against women and not be bounded by anyone.

The star cast also includes Tovino, Siddique, Samyukhta Menon in pivotal supporting roles. Written by famous writer duo Bobby & Sanjay, the film is slated to release on April 26.
