Bollywood super star Akshay Kumar will soon be seen in his first ever Tamil movie, alongside superstar Rajnikanth in Shankar’s ‘2.0’, which is a sequel to 2010’s blockbuster ‘Enthiran’ a.k.a ‘Robot’.

Produced by Lyca Productions in association with Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions, Akshay Kumar will be seen in an anti-hero character. By the looks of the teasers and trailer, it seems like he plays a Crow man in a metallic body, who despises mobile phone technology and wants to rip it away from all its users.

The movie is said be technology and VFX intensive. At the same time there has been a lot of work & preparation gone in the creation & execution of Akshay’s look for his devious character.

The actor admitted to have for the first time applied a lot of make up and taken so much time to get ready for his character, way more than it takes for his female co-stars. It used to take Akshay close to 3 hours to get his look & make up right and an hour to take them all off.

Check out this up and close look of Akshay’s Metallic Crow man look, shared by the actor on Instagram which he captioned saying, “For an actor who never puts makeup, 2.0 was a different story altogether. To get this look right, I think I must’ve taken longer than the female lead”

Akshay Kumar’s Look in ‘2.0’

Apart from waiting eagerly for 2.0’s release i.e. on 29th November, Akshay will soon start shooting for R. Balki’s ‘Mission Mangal’ directed by Jagan Shakti under the banner of Fox star studios and Cape of Good films this November as well.
