The multi-talented Farhan Akhtar has once again joined hands with director Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra after the success of the sports biopic Bhaag Milkha Bhaag. While the actor has been busy promoting his upcoming movie with Priyanka Chopra, he has been working hard to get into the physique of a boxer for the upcoming sports drama Toofan.

Farhan has been sharing updates of his body transformation journey with his fans for a while now and the actor took to his social media handles to announce the release date of Toofan along with the first look poster of the movie. The movie has been slated to a release date of 2 October 2020 as he wrote, “Toofan Uthega!! FIRST LOOK! #TOOFAN releasing 2nd October 2020!!”

In the first look poster, a shirtless Farhan Akhtar can be seen all geared up for a tough fight in the boxing ring and gives a Rocky Balboa feel to it. Helmed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, Toofan promises a great onscreen experience with Farhan Akhtar, Paresh Rawal and Isha Talwar holding the prominent characters.

Meanwhile, Farhan will soon be seen sharing screen space with Priyanka Chopra and Zaira Wasim in the upcoming romantic drama The Sky Is Pink which is slated to a release date on 11 October 2019.
