Tom Holland is one of the most loved Hollywood actors across the globe for his portrayal of Peter Parker aka Spider-Man in the comic-book based live-action movie series in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. While the actor is currently busy shooting for the upcoming untitled Spider-Man live-action movie, the latest report suggests that he is likely to be a part of another super-hit franchise.
Production house Legendary Pictures released Detective Pikachu last year which turned out to be a commercial success as expected and as per reports, the production banner is actively working on a new Pokemon movie. While the production house is reportedly working on creating a Pokemon cinematic universe, a source claims that Tom Holland is likely to be a part of it. As per the reports, Legendary Pictures is eyeing on the Spider-Man star to play the video-game based character of Blue Oak in the alleged upcoming Pokemon movie.
While there has been no official detail of the untitled project, sources claim that the sequel to Detective Pikachu will be in the same universe but will be seen as a separate project. Meanwhile, Tom Holland has as many as four upcoming releases including the untitled Spider-Man movie and Russo Brother’s directorial Cherry.
