The upcoming Spider-Man movie, Spider-Man: No Way Home, has been one of the most talked-about Marvel movies after the Endgame and the sole reason is its casting rumours. It has been rumoured time and again that the upcoming MCU movie featuring Tom Holland as the young Spider-Man introduces a live-action SpiderVerse and brings back Tobey Maquire and Andrew Garfield in their suits.
While Tobey has refuted such claims by saying that he is not aware of any such developments, the rumours of a live-action SpiderVerse has been rife. Earlier, the Spanish dubbing artist for Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man franchise featuring Tobey in the lead had confirmed his involvement in the upcoming movie. Now, another dubbing artist, Manolo Rey, hints at the returning of Tobey as the old friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man.
Manolo Rey has given his voice for the Brazilian version of Tobey Maguire’s Spider-Man and in a recent TikTok video, he spilt beans on his comeback. When asked if he is returning as Tobey Maguire’s voice in Spider-Man: No Way Home, the artist confirmed the news by giving a nod. However, the makers and the cast are hell-bent on avoiding such rumours.
