The wait is almost over! The much-anticipated second season of HBO’s Emmy-winning series The Last of Us is set to premiere on April 14. Indian audiences can catch all seven episodes exclusively on JioHotstar. Known for its intense storytelling and compelling characters, the series continues to bring the beloved PlayStation video game franchise to life.

Season 2 takes place five years after the events of the first season, with Joel and Ellie facing even greater challenges in a world that remains as ruthless as ever. Their journey is set to take unexpected and emotionally charged turns, delivering a darker and more unpredictable narrative.

Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey reprise their roles as Joel and Ellie, alongside returning cast members Gabriel Luna as Tommy and Rutina Wesley as Maria. The new season also welcomes Kaitlyn Dever as Abby, Isabela Merced as Dina, and Young Mazino as Jesse, among others. Additional cast members include Ariela Barer, Tati Gabrielle, Spencer Lord, Danny Ramirez, and Jeffrey Wright, while Catherine O’Hara is set to make a special appearance.

Adapted from the critically acclaimed video game by Naughty Dog, The Last of Us is helmed by creators Craig Mazin and Neil Druckmann. The series is produced in collaboration with Sony Pictures Television, PlayStation Productions, Word Games, Mighty Mint, and Naughty Dog. With its strong creative team and high expectations from fans, Season 2 is expected to deliver yet another unforgettable chapter in Joel and Ellie’s journey.
