The Kapil Sharma Show has always been one of the most loved comedy shows with India’s most successful comedian Kapil Sharma as the host. With many ups and downs, Kapil Sharma managed to bring back the popularity of his show with a fresh cast and set which first aired in 2018. After years of a successful run, the makers are planning to bring the show off-air once again due to lack of celebrity appearances.

While the pandemic and associated restrictions have affected the entertainment industry greatly, there has been a lack of movie releases lately. Additionally, in order to maintain a safe environment and prevent the spread of the deadly virus, The Kapil Sharma Show was running with fake audiences, which has caused a decline in the entertainment factor of the show. The makers are now planning to pull the plug on the show in mid-February and wait for the situation to normalize before they bounce back with new surprises.

The comedy show features Kapil Sharma as the main host with many comedians including Kiku Sharda, Bharti Singh, and Krushna Abhishek.
