The comic-book based character of Wonder Woman aka Diana Prince portrayed by the actress Gal Gadot first appeared in the DC cinematic universe in the epic Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice movie. The character was followed up with a solo origin movie of Wonder Woman and she also played a crucial part in the Justice League movie helmed by director Zack Snyder.
After starting a trend of female-led superhero films, Wonder Woman will hit the screens again with more action and vigour in the sequel, Wonder Woman 1984. While her fans all over the world have been eagerly waiting to get a glimpse of Diana Prince from the upcoming movie, production house, WB, didn’t disappoint them and shared the first look of the much-awaited superhero flick.
In the official poster shared by the makers, Gal Gadot is striking a fierce look with the new golden suit of Wonder Woman. The colourful abstract background spells the initials of the character while she is ready for action with her fists closed. The look on her face hints that the movie will be high on intense action drama and the fans couldn’t wait to get more of her.
Director of the movie Patty Jenkins also shared the poster and informed that Warner Bros wouldn’t be attending the San Diago Comic-Con this year in her tweet.
By now you’ve heard: WB isn’t going to Hall H this year. We’re so sad to miss you there! And waiting until Dec. to start our official #WW84 campaign in full– But the truth is… we can just… barely… wait… pic.twitter.com/QllFzhYRA6
