Abhishek Bachchan has been on a sabbatical post the release of Anurag Kashyap directorial Manmarziyan co-starring Vicky Kaushal and Taapsee Pannu. While the romantic drama failed to live up to the expectations at the box office, Junior Bachchan received critical acclaim for his performance and his fans have been eagerly waiting for his next release ever since.
On this new year, the Guru actor took to his social media handle to share the first look poster of his upcoming movie, The Big Bull, and treated his fans with his intense avatar. In the first look poster shared by Abhishek Bachchan, he can be seen wearing formals as he puts his index finger on his lips. The actor is sporting a gold-framed glasses along with multiple rings in his fingers.
While the tagline of the poster read, “The man who sold dreams to India”, there has been no official announcement regarding the plot of the movie. However, as per the media reports, Abhishek Bachchan will be portraying the real-life character of Indian stockbroker Harshad Mehta, who was involved in India’s biggest stock market scam. Helmed by Kookie Gulati, the movie stars Ileana D’Cruz and Lekha Prajapati alongside Abhishek Bachchan as the central character. Bankrolled by Ajay Devgn and Anand Pandit, The Big Bull is slated to release on the 2nd day of October 2020.
