The entire entertainment industry was working on a restricted work schedule owing to the Coronavirus pandemic and associated nationwide lockdown last year. With the new year and new hopes, filmmakers have started rolling out their projects and completing prior commitments. Adding to the list, Indra Kumar directorial comedy-drama, Thank God, went on floors on Thursday.

With the attendance of Markand Adhikari, Rudra Pandit, Anand Pandit, Ashok Thakeria, Bhushan Kumar, Indra Kumar, Sidharth Malhotra, Balu Munnangi, Sunir Kheterpal, Deepak Mukut, Vinod Bhanushali, and Shiv Chanana, a mahurat shot of Thank God was taken and Balu Munnangi gave the first mahurat clap.

The unique slice of life comedy with a message, Thank God starts filming today in Mumbai with a stellar cast including Ajay Devgn, Sidharth Malhotra and Rakul Preet Singh in the key roles. The touted-to-be modern family drama with loads of laughter and a message at the climax, Thank God is being bankrolled by Bhushan Kumar’s production banner, T-Series Films, Ashok Thakeria and Maruti International production.
