On the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, amongst thousands of fans and well wishers, the team launched the Music audio of the movie in Chennai outskirts, composed by none other than the musical maestro A R Rahman and Lyricist Vivek.

Super star Vijay in the audio launch mentioned how having them on board is like getting an ‘Oscar’ for their film. There are total of five songs in the album – ‘Simtaangaran’, ‘Oruviral Puratchi’ sung by Rahman himself, ‘CEO in the house’, ‘Top Tucker’ and ‘OMG Ponnu’.

‘Sarkar’ is a Political action drama in which along side Vijay, actors Keerthy Suresh, Varalakshmi Sarathkumar,  Radha Ravi, Prem Kumar, Yogi Babu, Pala Karrupiah and Tulasi Shivamani will be seen in pivotal roles.

Keerthy who plays the female lead opposite Vijay made a huge impact with her performance in the Malyalam-Tamil bilingual biopic movie ‘Mahanati’ based on late actress Savitri opposite Dulquer Salman earlier this year. This would be her second film along side Vijay after ‘Bairavaa’

The film is set for a Diwali release this year on November 6th.  Check out the audio launch speeches by Vijay, A R Murgadoss and A R Rahman below.
