Bollywood actress Taapsee Pannu is on a roll with back to back movie announcements and shootings. However, the pandemic crisis has postponed the release date of the majority of her movies. While the actress had wrapped filming for Rashmi Rocket long ago, seems like the makers have finally decided to release it on the OTT platform, ZEE5.

According to a source close to the development of the sports drama, Rashmi Rocket has been acquired by OTT giant ZEE5 for a whopping Rs 58 crore and the makers are eyeing a worldwide release on the occasion of the Dussehra festival. Helmed by Akarsh Khurana, the sports drama features Taapsee Pannu in the lead role with Abhishek Banerjee and Priyanshu Painyuli in key roles.

Taapsee had wrapped the filming for the movie early this year in Gujarat and shared a story behind doing this movie. “Not sure if I have the time and space to explain how this film actually happened. From the basic storyline I heard in Chennai 3 years back to actually complete its filming against all odds in these challenging times,” Taapsee had shared.
