‘Game over’ is an upcoming multi-lingual thriller drama directed by Ashwin Saravanan and has Taapsee Pannu in the lead role.  The film marks the return of the actress in Kollywood after a gap of three years.

We have seen Taapsee playing many strong roles so far and yet again the actor is all set to explore a brand new genre where she will play the character of a wheelchair-bound game developer who is also nyctophobic – a person who has an extreme fear of the darkness. In order to understand the role better of a girl who is going through such mental issues and anxiety, Taapsee took the help of the film’s co-writer Kavya Ramkumar whose family works with an NGO who helps people going through post-trauma stress disorders.

Produced by YNot Studios in association with Reliance Entertainment, Game Over will be released in Tamil and Telugu, along with a dubbed Hindi version. Director Anurag Kashyap will be presenting the film in Hindi. The film has dubbing artistes for Tamil and Telugu but Taapsee will be dubbing herself for the Hindi language. The film is all set to release worldwide on the 14th of June.
